Skyrora XL tests

Post by TommyJo » Tue Feb 02, 2021 12:42 pm

Here is a short excerpt from the press release on their website:
"On 23rd December 2020, the Skyrora test and flight operations team performed one of their most important test campaigns to date, a full upper stage static fire test, at their engine development complex in Fife, Scotland. This historic event represents yet another significant milestone in the Edinburgh-based rocket manufacturer’s development plan. In fact, it is a crucial milestone for the entire UK space industry"
Skyrora XL is the main product of the company.
Successful test reports are always encouraging. But if these are also successful tests of the Edinburgh company, then isn't that great?
The release also describes exactly how the Skyrora XL third stage can be used. In fact, it is a multipurpose space tug.
The company has previously reported other successful tests.
The first launches are scheduled for early 2022.
